SEVENTEEN Makes History With New Album

SEVENTEEN achieved another remarkable feat with their latest comeback

According to the album distributor, YG PLUS, on October 23, SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” garnered an impressive total of 5,206,718 pre-orders both domestically and internationally. This outstanding pre-order volume sets a new record for K-pop albums, solidifying SEVENTEEN’s position as a frontrunner in the K-pop industry.

The boys surpassed their previous album “FML” with 4,673,069 pre-order copies, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” has already broken the record for the highest pre-order volume among SEVENTEEN’s albums. This achievement marks for SEVENTEEN.

“SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” is comprised of eight songs, including “SOS (Prod. Marshmello)” produced by the renowned DJ Marshmallow, as well as the title tracks “God of Music” and “Diamond Days.” The album also features “Back 2 Back” by the performance team, “Monster” by the hip-hop team, and “Yawning,” “Headliner,” and “Inst” by the vocal team. Notably, members Woozi, S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon actively contributed to writing and composing songs, showcasing a diverse range of musical styles throughout the album.

The title track, “God of Music,” is a soul-punk infused song that blends cheerful synths and brass sounds, creating a funky and rhythmic atmosphere. It exudes an energetic “festival-like” vibe that encapsulates the essence of happiness, a quality often associated with Seventeen.
